Morrill County Community Hospital participates in the Children's Outreach Program* in conjunction with twelve other area healthcare agencies.  This program serves Western Nebraska's children age 0-5 and their families.

*The Children's Outreach Program is funded through a federal Rural Health Outreach Grant. 

If you are a proud new parent, Morrill County Home Health would like to congratulate you and welcome your baby into the world!  Most importantly, we would like to help make sure your health and your baby's health are fine.  We offer home visits and free service to families.  We also can help with health assessments, education, support, and information about how to get any help you might need for you and your family.

With a New Baby, Your local hospital will provide:

    -- A home visit within a few days of going home

    -- Assistance with parenting and questions about your infant 

    -- Help with nursing or feeding

    -- Someone to call when you need information or help

    -- Parenting tips like how to use a car seat correctly or how to

       communicate with your infant.

For Children Birth to Five your local hospital/agency will assist you to:

    -- Bond with your child

    -- Learn about the importance of the first months and years of your

       child's life

    -- Learn how to stimulate your child's brain and ability to learn

    -- Learn about normal behavior in infants, toddlers and preschoolers

    -- Be aware of good nutrition

    -- Teach good behavior
